Our Story
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
So, where did it all begin? Well..
I have been told I always had a talent for drawing and being creative so, if we go all the way back to Kirton Primary School, that is precisely what I used to love doing.
We then jump to the slightly more intimidating world of secondary school, Thomas Cowley High School to be precise. This is where I would discover design technology and along with Art and P.E, these three subjects would go on to be my favourite subjects for the next 5 years.
Moving on and we then get to the wider world of Boston College where I studied Art & Design. My skills would be given the chance to flourish during my time here.
This next part would be the part where I would have to fend for myself and you start to grow up fast! I studied Graphic Design at Hertfordshire University but also became one of the first Graphic Design students to take part in the study abroad programme. I ended up travelling across the pond to a place called Morgantown and the home of West Virginia University. It was, without doubt one of the best experiences of my life.
It is only when you leave education that you truly realise what you had, whether it be primary school, secondary school, college or university.
So after all of that, I can happily say that I am running my own business in Cottenham, Cambridge. The business you are looking at right now, JH ArtDesign.
